NOTES
Fishing lake travis
Lake Travis
we got a late start but it didnt seem to be a big deal, we started on a long point with grass that ended in a creek channel. the bass were hanging just off the grass in the channel. we sat up in shallow water and casted out to deep water throwing swimbaits. the bite was pretty solid until about 11:30. this time of year the earlier you are out the better.
Gear & Tackle Used:
using 6th sense respose rods and shimano spinning reels. spooked with light braid to a seaguar floro carbon leader. using a 1/4oz line thru head made by 6th sense and varieties of 3"-4" swimbaits.
